Big DEED turnout in Dayton

The 28 privately-owned and 5 dealership-owned electric vehicles (EVs) were viewed by well over 100 EV enthusIasts in a parking garage at the Austin Landing retail center between Dayton and Cincinnati. The EV curious were clearly excited to sit in the wide range of vehicles and were quick to pose a host of questions to owners and dealers.

Scrappage scheme sees end to Jags, Mercs and even a Morris Minor

According to Hyundai, their dealers have been surprised by the array of cars which have been scrapped in exchange for more environmentally friendly i10 and i120s. One Hyundai dealer was amazed to see a Jaguar XJ-S being sent to the scrapper in exchange for a new i10, while another crushed an XJ6 to make way for an i20.
