Together with our colleagues at the University of Padua, in Italy, we created a computer model of glucose-insulin dynamics that operated on 300 virtual subjects with type 1 diabetes. Then there are the many, many DIY projects underway. This article appears in the December 2021 print issue as "Creating the Artificial Pancreas.".
