Kulongoski, Oregon as the electric-car manufacturer may be eyeing the “green” city of Portland. The MiEV runs on a lithium-ion battery pack that can be charged in seven or so hours on a 240-volt line. I wonder how the hapless car buyers without the PhD’s in engineering are going to deal with all of this?
