The EPA has rated the Maverick Hybrid’s fuel economy at 42 mpg city/33 highway and 37 combined. mpg with the best fuel economy on an all-city 45-mile run where the average was a stellar 46.7 Road Test: 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. There are driver selectable drive modes of Eco, Normal, Sport, Tow/Haul and Slippery.

For even more space, the second row folds flat producing plenty of room for a run to the DIY store or maybe some antiquing. The EPA rates the CX-9 AWD at 20 mpg city/26 highway/23 combined. Road Test: 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. The limited storage behind the raised third row becomes a very useful space when that row is dropped.
