US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has selected 25 cost-share projects under the Clean Cities program that will be funded with nearly $300 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The project will deploy 502 alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles through 119 public and private fleets throughout the state.

3 of Oklahoma’s first NEVI EV charging stations will be Tesla Superchargers

The three companies will provide a combined $7 million in private funding match to build 13 combined DC fast charging stations. Tesla will install three Superchargers, and they’ll be located at the I-44 exit 240 in Catoosa, the I-40 exit 240B in Henryetta, and the I-44 exit 125B in Oklahoma City. Get started here. –
