Jerry gave a comprehensive overview of the conversion technology used in the Spirit of DC, including the lead-acid battery pack module installation from Plug-In Supply in Santa Rosa, California. The extra lead-acid battery pack can be recharged externally at night from the Prius owner’s household 110 VAC source in a home garage.

Has shown some concept fuel-cell PHEVs. Blue Concept PHEV Van with diesel or hydrogen fuel cells and rooftop photovoltaic. Batteries not ready.

It is aggressively in talks with Portland General Electric Plug-In Charging Stations , ( POR ) and other states including Michigan, and California that are scrambling to offer incentives. Today we could be using lead-acid EVs, lead-carbon-acid EVs, or nickel metal hydride or lithium-ion hybrids.
