But in a 110-mile all-freeway run with the adaptive cruise control set to 65 mph, and using Stop and Go , we achieved 29.3 New Vehicle – Five years/60,000 miles. A robust V6. Red and ready.

In 240 miles driving around Southern California we averaged 23 mpg, but in a 100-mile run with the adaptive cruise control set at 65 mph, we averaged 31.2 This fuel economy is encouraging, but it will take a wide open road with little traffic and lots of patience to equal it. Running on unleaded premium, the EPA has rated the fuel economy at 19 mpg city/25 highway/21 combined. In 386 miles driving through Southern California, aided by the start/stop (where the engine shuts off when not needed), we averaged 23.7 The 2022 GV70 comes with these warranties: Powertrain – 10 years/100,000 miles.

Competing in the premium midsize SUV category, the 2021 Cadillac XT5 is right in the middle of stiff competition, including models from Acura, Audi, BMW, Genesis, Infiniti, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Tesla and Volvo. In 224 miles of mostly freeway driving we averaged 22.5 Cadillac’s Midsize Contender.

Our review of the not-so-much-smaller 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid returned stellar fuel economy topping 50 miles per gallon. We are starting with optimizing our conventional drive trains—the TDI diesel engines, the TSI engines, the DSG transmission, all of those technologies have helped us to lower our fuel consumption a lot. We have different alternative fuels in our program such as CNG and LPG, we are working on some synthetic fuel.
