In 386 miles driving through Southern California, aided by the start/stop (where the engine shuts off when not needed), we averaged 23.7 There is an underside storage tray, side storage pockets and a temporary spare tire.

In 240 miles driving around Southern California we averaged 23 mpg, but in a 100-mile run with the adaptive cruise control set at 65 mph, we averaged 31.2 This fuel economy is encouraging, but it will take a wide open road with little traffic and lots of patience to equal it. And yes, you can spin the tires!
