Driving Fun in a Three-Row Crossover SUV. The up-market interior on the CX-9 Signature has a luxury feel usually found in a premium crossover SUV. The dash layout is logical, simple and clean, with three round gauges (tachometer, speedometer and water temperature/fuel) with black faces and white letters were easy to read.

The EPA rated the Santa Cruz’ fuel economy at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined. The sculpted hood leads to a crossover SUV cabin that morphs into a truck bed. The interior though is all SUV, seating five with black-on-black front heated and ventilated leather seats. Road Test: 2018 Chevrolet Colorado.

Fuel Economy King in a Not-So-Small Pickup. This compact pickup is smaller than the mid- and full-size trucks roaming our streets, but size alone doesn’t explain how it sips fuel.
