At Mobile World Congress 2022 (MWC 2022) in Barcelona, Vietnam-based VinFast and Pininfarina illustrated the details of the interior and exterior design of their electric vehicles, VF 8 and VF 9. Established in 2017, VinFast owns an automotive manufacturing complex that features up to 90% automation in Hai Phong, Vietnam.

GoMotiv’s involvement with VinFast has been very low profile to this point, unlike designs completed by the Italian design houses Pininfarina and Torino, which have been heavily promoted. The company also purchased the former Holden Lang Lang proving ground in 2020 but had it back on-sale inside 12 months, although it has yet to find a buyer.
