Clean power generation and electric transport are seeing heavy inflows, but need to see further increases in spending as costs fall. In 2020, the size of the market increased four times compared to 2016, reaching an estimated $118 billion. Commercial EV investment declined from $12 billion in 2016 to $4 billion in 2020.
