AvtoVAZ launches 3 concepts at Moscow Motor Show; collaboration with Renault-Nissan

Production is scheduled to start in 2016 in Togliatti. The move comes on the heels of AvtoVAZ-Renault-Nissan becoming the fourth largest manufacturer of automobiles worldwide following several successful moves by Rostec. The new design is expected to be track launched in 2015, with the first road tests planned for spring 2015.

DS introducing DS 7 CROSSBACK at Geneva show; PHEV model, autonomous driving features

A new assembly system called “kitting” has been put in place at the Mulhouse plant in France. The DS project team paid particular attention to how this car would be assembled.

Volkswagen takes stake in German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI); autonomous driving and the digital factory
