Diesel PM emissions from trucks serving the Port of Oakland, California declined 98% between 2005 and 2015, according to an emissions inventory released by the Port. In that same timeframe, ship emissions dropped 75%. tons in 2015. Overall DPM emissions decreased from 261 tons to 63 tons.

The California Energy Commission gave final approval for nearly $50 million in grant awards for hydrogen refueling and electric charging construction projects recommended for funding in notices of proposed awards published in April and May. California’s zero-emission vehicle goal is to get 1.5 ITM Power Inc.

The California Energy Commission has approved eight grants that leverage more than $9.6 Project partners will provide $1,000,000 to match the state grant. If used in a motorcycle, the resulting powertrain will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 72% and save 70 gallons of petroleum each year.
