SEAT takes first step towards micro-mobility strategy with electric eXS KickScooter powered by Segway

Following its acquisition by transportation robotics start-up Ninebot in 2015, Segway has launched several micro-mobility solutions for the consumer market. SEAT is introducing the new eXS vehicle, which can be purchased at all of the brand’s dealers beginning in December 2018, at a cost of €599 (US$685).

DLR-led NEMESIS 2+ project develops compact direct steam reformer for diesel/biodiesel to H2

The EU NEMESIS 2+ project, which ran until June 2015, was coordinated by the German Aerospace Center (DLR). A techno-economic evaluation, which was also carried out during the EU project, determined maximal production costs of €5.80 (Original project goals were 50 Nm 3 /h, or 4.5 kg/h with an efficiency >80%.) Calumet Specialty Products Partners invests $25M in Louisiana gas-to-liquids joint venture

The Lake Charles, Louisiana plant, which is expected to be operational by late 2015, has a total estimated cost of $135 million. The small-scale GTL plant is expected to produce 1,100 barrels per day of refined products, including waxes, drilling fluids, distillate and naphtha, from natural gas.
