So imagine a million electric cars on US roads which all need to change these batteries in say 2015. I also wrote an article about cars and what’s good and not good. The huge hill of used batteries represents a major problem with the toxic acid and lead inside. Now add much cheaper materials and NiMH is now obsolete.
