Generally, any alternative energy form that can help reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and limit our reliance on fossil fuels is well-received. It finds that biofuels made with grains and oilseeds show a fall in emissions of 60-80 per cent compared to fossil fuels – well above the 35 per cent objective set by the European Union for 2010.
