Here is how each manufacturer faired: Ford: The addition of the Fusion and Milan Hybrids gave Ford a neat boost with hybrid sales up 21 per cent compared to April 2008. Together the two cars sold 2,299 units. Meanwhile, the Ford Escape and Mariner hybrids saw sales drop by 40.5 per cent year-on-year - there were a combined 1,165 units sold.
