Europcar Groupe has already implemented numerous environmental initiatives within the scope of a Green charter certified by Bureau Veritas in June 2008. To date, the Alliance has signed two final agreements in Europe with Portugal and the Principality of Monaco.

Introduction of an original EV test vehicle in August 2008. Raleigh, N.C. and Washington, D.C. The reduction target was 7%.

A new 3-phase recharging station suitable for electric commercial vehicle applications will be available in mid-2009. In 2008, Elektromotive integrated the latest Power Line Communication (PLC) technology (developed by EDF), into its road-side charging stations.
