In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. First Escape PHEV delivered to SCE Nov 2007; 20 in 2008-2009. Plans Saturn Vue PHEV-10. Aims to get Saturn Vue on road in 2010; no production goal. 2010 Prius designed to be manufactured with NiMH or Lithium batteries. Batteries not ready.
