How does this sound: 100+ MPG in a regular vehicle? Scientist have confirmed that unlike gasoline cars, plug-ins will get cleaner as they get older -- because our power grid is getting cleaner. Only PHEVs and battery EVs get cleaner as they get older - because the electric grid gets cleaner every decade.

The MiEV runs on a lithium-ion battery pack that can be charged in seven or so hours on a 240-volt line. The Think City was short-lived in the States with production halting in 2002 after just 1005 cars had been assembled. The electricity for recharging has to come from somewhere, which means power plants.
