Much earlier in the chapter’s history, member Otmar Ebenhoech, who would go on to create the Villa DC Motor Controller, made a strong impression on the DIY community using DC motors. He was also the owner of the California Poppy Porsche 914. Eventually moving to Alameda, California, the manufacturer was later renamed REVO Powertrains.
