Creative Greenius is EV Driven

I am very excited to announce my participation in the launch of

badge-evd1We are an on-line community of people who are passionate about Electric Vehicles and we’re not shy about it. We have come together to find and organize the best content from blogs and other web sites. The goal is to create a place where it’s easy to find current and highly relevant content.

And we intend to stimulate and grow new connections – a whole lot of them. Starting right now.

You can get a sense of the power and scope of the site by visiting EV Driven and clicking a keyword on the left. For example, if you look at the page on Obama you find:

* The keywords on the left are ordered according to their relationship to the current term. So you can see that Climate Change, Environment, Standards, Solar and other such terms all relate heavily to Obama according to what people talk about.
* The top of the page has the latest posts.
* Below that you find top posts based on various social signals.

o President Obama: Days of Building Sprawl Are Over
o Obama on cars
o Obama’s cabinet drunk on ethanol?

As the EV Driven site runs, it will get better and better at finding great content. I’ll do my best to supply some unique stuff from my own off-center perspective.

Me and my fellow participating bloggers now have some new, very cool capabilities.

For instance, when you go to Chris Payne’s fantastic Revenge of the Electric Car page, check out left side for the topics it digs into, like:

Electric Cars (no surprise), Tesla, Mini E, Volt. These are all listed in the new keyword widget provided by EV Driven that we’ve all put in the sidebars on our blogs.

There’s also a page that shows the Best Content from Revenge of the Electric Car based on social signals. These will improve over time. But you can get a sense of what people think is our best stuff.

p1020575You can do all these same things on Creative Greenius as well. Go ahead, take it for a spin and see.

I am both humbled and flattered to be part of this impressive network of people who all focus on the EV topic.

In addition to Creative Greenius you’ll find these great EV Driven blogs:

* DIY Electric Car
* Electric Car Blog
* Electric Cars are for Girls
* Green Car Congress
* Green Gearhead
* My Green Wheels
* Open Source Civic EV Kit
* Plug In Partners
* Plugs and Cars
* Porsche 914 EV Conversion

p1310571It’s true gearhead fun to look at some of the differences in keywords for some of the bloggers. Click on the links and you can see that Electric Car Blog talks about MPH.

All of this terrific technology comes from Tony Karrer. Tony is an amazing guy who has brought these same tools to other communities who are using them to spread knowledge and participation. I share Tony’s passion for eLearning.

I know Tony has more features planned and you can count on them being the best of what’s out there. And because this is as much about you as it is about us, Tony and I would like to hear any suggestions you have for how to make this site better.

Go ahead and take the full nickel tour. Kick the tires, check out the handling and performance. Plug-In, Turn-On, Ride-Clean.  Just don’t burn any carbon while you’re here if you can help it.

Subscribe to the whole ball of wax or just follow one favorite key word.

The power is now in your hands. Lets find out what we can discover and learn together.
