QOTD: How Old is Your Fleet?
We posted yesterday about the aging vehicle fleet. Now I want to know -- how old is your personal fleet?
How old are the cars and trucks in your driveway or garage? Is this a function of you liking to hold on to cars forever, or is it driven by the price of new (and used) cars being too high?
Or do you go the other way and get a new car every couple of years no matter what? Do you lease?
Or is it a mix? Maybe you might have one car in your fleet that's a decade old and the other is on a three-year lease.
Please exclude classics and project cars from this conversation -- you're likely going to hold on to those cars for a very long time. We're talking daily drivers here -- the kind of car you'd happily sell/trade-in/lease return every so often.
Sound off below.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

"1994 Chrysler LeBaron GTC"
I drove a '93 emerald green LeBaron Mitsu 3.0/auto convertible with tan leather and Pac Man dash for in summer/fall 2004 (but don't remember if it was a GTC or not). I know we had 3 in it at the time, and the owner/my boss was being a d!ck on employee pricing with it so the following spring it was sold out from under me but I never found out if it was just retailed or wholesaled out to another dealer though a colleague. Later our grizzled old mechanic told me it was a POS and I was better off, I admire you keeping one. Once in a great while I think about a TC myself...
