The 2024 Buick Envision Will Sport Concept Car Styling And Super Cruise
Buick is a big deal in China, and it invests heavily in bringing new models to the country. The Buick-China relationship is so strong that the automaker builds vehicles there for import to its home country, the United States. The Envision SUV has long been built at a GM factory in China, and we’re now learning of a facelifted version of the vehicle that will arrive in 2024.
The 2024 Envision is expected to get a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Buick said it drew styling influences from the Wildcat EV concept vehicle, giving the Envision a sleeker, more futuristic look than its other models.
Buick will almost certainly update Envision’s tech and interior finishes, but the big story for 2024 is the introduction of Super Cruise to the SUV line. GM’s reliable hands-free driving assistant works on thousands of miles of highways across North America but requires driver attention at all times.
We don’t have pricing details or a release date for the 2024 Envision yet, but Buick said it would release more information later this year. The new SUV likely won’t take a huge step forward in price from 2023, which would mean a starting MSRP in the mid-$30,000 range. There may also be a range-topping Avenir model with higher-end everything available for more money.

I hear the owner's manual is a little red book.
Lets not sugar coat it , the Chinese government hates the USA ( and most western countries ) . It doesn’t give a “ warm and fuzzy feeling” to buy a big ticket item from such a regime.
• Expressive rocker panels/lower door area. Approved.
(Actually the actual rocker panels are dead boring and all the excitement is baked into the door panel; google it with the doors open. But I'm a surface-level American and easily fooled.)

Although it's an elegant interpretation of the split light trend. The Envision retains the basic fault of being a so-called premium Buick CUV made in China where GM equips like an economy car by forcing consumers into higher trim levels to access features which should be standard. The only thing premium about the Envision is the high octane fuel required to keep it running.
