Today we bring another UCOTD with concise ad copy. This one is a 2002 Audi A6.

This car has the 3.0-liter V6 and front-wheel drive and the seller says that there isn't much the car needs.

He or she also notes the timing belt, steering pump, water pump, and alternator have been recently replaced. And the sound system is "thumping."

Click here to check out this Audi. It's in New Mexico for $5,500 and I didn't see a listed mileage.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

Huh. From the front, it looks like a 1988 Chrysler LeBaron, and from the rear it looks like a 1996 Chrysler LHS. The comparison might not be flattering.

No one's mentioned the aftermarket headlights. There's another red flag that might dissuade many of the more discerning shoppers.

  • The Oracle Farley proves once again he is WAY in over his head.
  • Theflyersfan Gas prices went up $1.00/gal today at the three stations I just passed to get home. Was there a war? No? Could it be oil company greed? Perhaps.
  • Slavuta Actually, this is probably not as bad as student loan ordeal
  • Kcflyer but will it be direct injection only? If so, fool me once.......
  • THX1136 The current administration hoping the unwashed masses are not paying attention. A purely political move similar to the 'request' by Democrats that the Biden administration do something about the border issues prior to the election. Still won't vote for him OR the other guy this Nov.
