Used Car of the Day: 2007 Volvo V70R Ti
Today we're going wagon style as we bring you a 2007 Volvo V70R Ti.
Apparently it has been well-maintained. It has the Getrag six-speed automatic transmission and 143,000 miles on the clock.
Mods include BBS 19-inch wheels, fully adjustable coilovers, upgraded sway bars and lower control arms, LED lighting, and more.
Cosmetically, the car appears to have some minor flaws but nothing major.
If a souped-up Swedish wagon appeals to you, click here. The ask is $11,500.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

- Yuda Very dystopian. Not good.
- EBFlex Yes. They don’t work.
- THX1136 I remember watching the 'Wonderful World of Disney' back when I was kid. One program imagined the future. In that future one could get in their car, tell it the chosen destination and the car would take you there without any further intervention. As a pre-teen I thought that sounded pretty cool. Now I'd be more on the side of wanting to drive when I want and letting the car do the driving when I don't. Not scared of autonomous vehicles, not ready to completely abandon driving myself either.
- Dave M. Always thought these were a great design, timeless in fact. But as a former Volvo owner who was bled to death by constant repairs starting around 40k miles, run far far away

". . .the wife has insisted on an suv for the kids."
There's one reason I've been passing on kids. . .
I don't see any mods that would drastically alter or compromise the car apart from the KW coilovers, and I'd argue they're a net win for the next owner. IPD is practically a surrogate OEM for succeeded generations of Volvo, so I wouldn't worry about parts from them, either.
Honestly, I think if he puts his stock wheels back on, finished the 4C removal, and dropped the price closer to market value, he could have it sold in short order.
I want one of these so bad, in this color, and I'd even settle for an auto. Not *this* one, mind you, but a good condition carbon copy.
