Linde has executed a new long term contract with PdV Midwest Refining LLC to supply hydrogen to the company’s CITGO Lemont, Illinois, oil refinery. Site construction has already commenced for the 45 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) (107,165 kg) hydrogen plant, which Linde will own and operate under a long-term supply contract.

Stardust Power , a lithium refiner supplying the EV sector, is going to build the US’s largest battery-grade lithium refinery in Oklahoma. The refinery will be in Southside Industrial Park in Muskogee, Oklahoma, southeast of Tulsa, and is expected to be capable of producing up to 50,000 metric tonnes of battery-grade lithium annually.

Amazon’s Rivian delivery van has been spotted in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, and Tulsa. Everything from facility construction to equipment installation, to vehicle component supply (especially semiconductors) has been impacted by the pandemic. He also suggested that Rivian was affected by the global chip shortage.
