Seattle Loves 2011 Nissan Leaf So Much, It Buys 35

Zipcar introduces Honda Fit EV into UC Davis West Village fleet

Zipcar was the first car-sharing company in the United States to introduce electric vehicles, starting in Boston in 2002, and the first to offer hybrid vehicles through a partnership with Honda in Seattle in 2003. Honda’s 2014 Fit EV, based on the popular five-passenger Fit, is rated at a combined fuel economy of 118 MPGe.

BAE Systems reports more than 3,500 HybriDrive series hybrid systems delivered or ordered worldwide

NTSB 3rd investigative update on Boeing 787 battery fire in Boston; battery not overcharged

NTSB said that examination of the flight recorder data from the JAL B-787 airplane indicated that the APU battery did not exceed its designed voltage of 32 volts. Several other components have been sent for download or examination to Boeing’s facility in Seattle and manufacturer’s facilities in Japan. ( Earlier post.)
