The California Energy Commission (CEC) approved a new goal to make up to 7,000 megawatts (MW) of electricity available through the smarter use of existing clean energy resources. The 7,000 MW goal complements the 38,000 MW of new clean electricity resources the state projects to need by 2030.

The California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has posted an additional fuel pathway for POET LLC ( sub-pathway 7 ) for its Emmetsburg, Gowrie, Jewell, and Lake Crystal Plants under the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). DGS reference pathway has a CI of 98.40 gCO 2 e/MJ while the wet DGS CI is. gCO 2 e/MJ.
