Tesla’s aggressive sales strategy has been implemented in the United States. The Model Y Long Range price has been reduced to $52,990, a full $13,000 less than its previous price of $65,990. As observed by some members of the Tesla community, the EV maker has also reduced the price of the 4680 Model Y Standard Range AWD.

Fisker announced that as of 31 May, the all-electric Fisker Ocean Extreme (starting price $68,999) has an Environmental Protection Agency-estimated total range of 360 miles on standard 20" wheels and tires, exceeding Fisker’s previous estimates. The Fisker Ocean Extreme has been certified by European authorities for sale in Europe.

Apart from the Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor AWD, the vehicle is also available in Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) trim. Previously, the vehicle was priced at $45,990 before options.

The median range of new EV models sold in the United States decreased for the 2021 model year, according to the EPA. For the 2021 model year, the median range for EVs was 234 miles, compared to 259 miles for the 2020 model year, the EPA said in a short blog post. Note that this isn't sales-weighted, nor is it an average.
