I have used a rotary switch in the Reva, a stick shift in the Mahindra e2o, a rotating knob in the Tata Nexon EV - and now the button selector in the I- PACE. Just FYI, if you plug the car into a 15 A socket, like the one I have at home, it will take more than 24 hours for the car to go from zero to full tank.
