Peugeot now offer full electric van range

That is now changing, and Peugeot is the latest manufacturer to offer an electric version of all its main vans – the e-Partner, e-Expert and e-Boxer – without any limitations in terms of payload volume.

Peugeot e-Partner

The all-electric Peugeot e-Partner has a load volume of up to 4.4m³, exactly the same as the petrol version, a payload of up to 800 kg, and a 750 kg towing capacity. It has an electric driving range of up to 171 miles.

The Peugeot e-Partner is available in two body styles (Standard and Long) and as a Panel Van (up to 3 seats) and Crew Van (up to 5 seats).

The e-Partner’s electric powertrain produces 100 kW (136 bhp) and torque of 260 Nm.

Peugeot e-Expert

The all-electric Peugeot e-Expert compact van has a load volume of up to 6.6m³, exactly the same as the diesel version, a payload of up to 1226 kg, and a 1000 kg towing capacity.

There’s a choice of two batteries, 50 kWh and 75 kWh, the latter offering up to 205 miles of electric driving range. The e-Expert is available in three lengths: Compact, Standard and Long.

Peugeot e-Boxer

The all-electric Peugeot e-Boxer large van has a load volume of up to 17m³, exactly the same as the diesel version thanks to the batteries being located under the floor, a payload of up to 1150 kg in the case of the Panel Van, and a 1000 kg towing capacity. There’s a choice of two batteries, 37 kWh and 70 kWh, the latter offering up to 139 miles of electric driving range. The e-Expert is available in three lengths.

The e-Boxer’s electric powertrain produces 90 kW (122 bhp) and torque of 260 Nm. The drivetrain has an energy recovery system, which acts when the accelerator pedal is released and when braking. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 56mph.

Peugeot will have delivered 4,000 electric commercial vehicles in Europe by 2021, and already has an order book of 10,000 vehicles.
