The PHEV Kit was checked and shown in good functionally operating order; the depleted battery pac was replaced and re-invigorated and balanced with a B&B EB20 battery pack. Even EVJerry got quite a PbA lead gel training course with lots of 'hands on' practical exercises included!

It's all part of the PHEV EVxperience! In the Sun Belt run, the "Spirit" will be visiting the last eight reminding State Capitals: Santa Fe, New Mexico; Oklahoma City, OK; Austin, TX, Baton Rouge, LA; Jackson, MS; Little Rock, AR; Nashville, TN; and Montgomery, AL.

Along with other national leaders in the PHEV movement, including Dr. Andy Frank and Mark Duvall of EPRI , I spoke to the need to fund battery research and demonstration vehicles. Legislation On May 16, the Energy Subcommittee of the House Science Committee held a public hearing on Congressman Lamar Smith's proposed legislation.
