Toyota has hit the millionth sale milestone for its hybrids in Europe with the delivery of an Auris hybrid to a driver in Germany. Hybrid sales already account for 23% of Toyota Motor Europe’s (TME’s) total sales year-to-date. Two-thirds of the hybrid sales in Europe are made in Europe.

At the Geneva Motor Show, Toyota Motor Europe (TME) announced that European sales of hybrid vehicles reached an all-time high in 2013 totaling 156,863 units, up 43% year-on-year. total TME sales, including several countries outside of the EU. This progress is mainly due to the excellent sales performance of hybrid models.
