Port of LA to begin collecting Clean Truck Fund Rate in April

Effective 1 April 2022, the Port of Los Angeles will begin collecting its Clean Truck Fund (CTF) Rate to help speed the transition to zero-emissions trucks serving the San Pedro Bay port complex. The action was unanimously approved by the Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners. The rate will sunset 31 December 2034.

PNNL TranSEC tool uses UBER data to track and potentially alleviate urban traffic congestion

TranSEC’s near real-time display of traffic state estimation in the entire Los Angeles Metro Area at 6 pm on a weekday. Using public data from the entire 1,500-square-mile Los Angeles metropolitan area, the team reduced the time needed to create a traffic congestion model by an order of magnitude, from hours to minutes.
