The four new chargers added to Oregon’s current network of 815 DC fast chargers will increase fast-charger availability by 15% in the Portland metro area and 5% statewide. I'm all ready for the long rainy winter here in Portland. I think the next major project (If I don't go out and purchase a Nissan "Leaf" outright) is to upgrade the batteries to lithium-ion types when the AGM lead-acid batteries die. After shelling out a whopping $6.50 Hopefully that will be two years out.
