Lithium-ion automotive battery producer EnerDel and Nissan Motor Co. are teaming up to co-fund research at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) on a new electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries. Both EnerDel and AESC, Nissan’s Li-ion JV, work with that chemistry. Excellent ionic conductivity to enable rapid ion transport.
