Spheric Technologies, a Phoenix, Arizona, high temperature microwave technology company, has developed what it says is a production process for lithium iron phosphate cathode material for Li-ion batteries. Spheric says that its AMPS microwave furnace is ideally configured for the production of LFP, among other applications.
