Launching an imported CKD kit in India was never a long term solution. This includes 14,243 Pure Battery Electric Cars, 4,451 Plugin Hybrids, and 1010 Fuel Cell cars. Also, the replacement batteries had to come all the way from Korea. The plug-in EV segment continues to grow. Meanwhile, Hyundai sold 18 Konas in India.

With the charger plugin at both work and home, the PakTrakr fuel gauge doesn't seem to drop below the 80% mark, so I think the batteries will last a little while. With the motor out, I'm going to look into RPM kits for electric cars that use spinning magnets on the flywheel with a magnetic sensor to generate a signal. Stay tuned.
