Store your battery indoors when not in use, and consider insulating it with a battery cover when riding in very cold conditions. In snow riding, I will often wear a full-face helmet like a motorcycle helmet. With a scarf or balaclava keeping my neck warm, I can tuck the top of it into my motorcycle helmet and keep my face toasty.

He left for UK in the seventies - and started an arts supply store. His son has now taken over the store, closed it down - and shifted to an entirely online model. I wonder how he can use art to make cycling less infra dig amongst the motorcycle driving community that is India. So you can get max juice out of the battery.

Several early models of passenger vehicles have enough energy stored in advanced batteries to power several homes for hours. Does it, in essence, come down to the fact that V2G takes advantage of battery storage that would exist anyway , as opposed to requiring batteries specifically for the purpose of storing night-time electricity?

Also, besides giving you the ability to charge at night when most utility rates are lower, future vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology may allow you to sell some of your stored energy back to the utilities. Currently, there are some industrial facilities that use battery swapping to replenish the energy stores of electric forklifts.

Then consider that in order to actually go any farther than the neighbood store, one still had to have ANOTHER car. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. So just use a portable electric generator in the trunk, from the hardware store to charge the batteries while you drive.
