This license allows Elcora to mine, extract, process and sell manganese from its 16 km² mining concession in Morocco. The Atlas Fox Deposit had been mined until the mid-1950s (when the French colonial rule in Morocco came to an end), leaving on-site about 40 extracted manganese ore piles and numerous surface veins and pits.

The German Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and Transport Dr Volker Wissing launched an international e-fuels dialogue in Munich at the conference “ E-Fuels – Paving the Way for Clean Mobility ”. The aim is to consolidate international exchange. Among others, the Czech Republic, Morocco and Japan were represented.

Africa can produce 50 million tons of green hydrogen a year by 2035, according to a new study by the European Investment Bank (EIB), International Solar Alliance and the African Union, with the support of the Government of Mauritania, HyDeal and UCLG Africa. The report was formally handed over to partners on 20 December.
