BYD wins order for another 406 electric buses in Bogotá, Colombia

A joint venture between Colombian business group Fanalca and international public transport operator Transdev used BYD’s integrated E-bus solutions to bid and successfully won the tender. BYD will co-work with Superpolo, a Colombian bus manufacturer, on the body part of the buses for such order.

GM Creates New South America Regional Organization

GM South America includes GM’s existing sales and manufacturing operations in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela as well as sales activities in those countries and Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. In the first five months of the year, GM sold 394,000 vehicles in South America and its market share was 20.2%.
