Van Hool, an independent Belgian manufacturer of buses, coaches and industrial vehicles, has shipped the first CX45E, a 100% battery electric coach, to the US. The CX45E is a fully electric powered coach for the North American market. The vehicles will be driven from Koningshooikt to Zeebrugge for shipment to the US.

For some time now, it has no longer been a matter of small orders, but of large orders for a few dozen vehicles destined for Cologne, Wuppertal and QBuzz, among others, in the Netherlands.
