The fuel economy attributes of Biosynthetic Base Oil is further demonstrated by the results of a recent Mercedes Benz M111 Fuel Economy Test in which a Biosynthetic SAE 5W-30 motor oil formulation achieved a 3.05% fuel economy gain compared to the industry reference oil.

As part of this collaboration, these certified PCMO formulations will be made available to marketers interested in selling ultra-high-performance Biosynthetic motor oils.

Engine test data show these Biosynthetic motor oil formulations achieve piston deposit and wear protection ratings among the highest of any PCMO products currently available in the market, demonstrating that Biosynthetic Base Oils provide performance benefits not attainable with petroleum-based products alone, the company said.
