Last week, at the Model S unveiling in Los Angeles, Tesla revealed that an optional “ QuickCharg e &# battery would get a full charge in 45 minutes from a 480V outlet. For on-the-go juice ups, the idea is to exchange your dead battery for a fresh one owned by Better Place.

Think of driving any vehicle in the hot Los Angeles summer time. When most of America will be reluctant to buy a GM car because the company might go bankrupt how the hell did those in charge think bailing them out was a good idea? A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator.
