At the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) next week, China-based GAC Motor will unveil three new vehicles: a new SUV, a hybrid crossover concept car, and an elecric vehicle developed internally. GAC is the only Chinese automaker to exhibit at the 2017 NAIAS and is also the first Chinese automaker to present on the main show floor.

GE is also looking at using the batteries in heavy-duty hybrid applications such as in buses, locomotives and mining vehicles. These batteries will ensure the continuous operation of telecom installations in Nigeria, and enable the customer to lower fuel consumption and emissions of the diesel generator powered telecom towers by up to 50%.

The transition in Europe to hybrid natural gas pricing models (which take European spot hub prices into account) also has pressured natural gas pricing. The decision also has impacted natural gas export prices negatively, since, for Russia's long-term supply agreements, they wholly or partially are indexed to oil prices.
