The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is the first municipality in the State of Tennessee to install and deploy Coulomb ChargePoint Networked Charging Stations for plug-in electric vehicles. The charging stations are now installed in downtown Nashville in a new 700-space parking garage located on the Fulton Campus.

Additional stations are planned for Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Nashville, Chattanooga and another site in Knoxville. The collaboration will create a model charging facility that will charge electric vehicles quickly and reliably, and it will produce data to assist in implementing key components of a smart electrical grid.
