's second Nio House in Germany will be located in Frankfurt. Its first flagship showroom in the country is located in Berlin.

Nio (NYSE: NIO) will open its second flagship showroom in Germany at the end of this month, as the Chinese carmaker ramps up its bets in Europe.

Nio will open a new Nio House in Frankfurt on March 30, which will be the company's second such facility after the one in Berlin, according to a post today in the European edition of the Nio App.

Frankfurt is a major local transportation hub that attracts millions of visitors from around the world each year, the article said.

The city is home to the European Central Bank, the German Bundesbank and many other financial institutions.

Germany's first Nio House opened on December 16, 2022, in Berlin.

Nio Houses is the flagship showroom of Nio, the company's showrooms in China also include the smaller Nio Spaces.

The Nio House is much more than just a showcase and sales vehicle, it is a space where Nio offers a quality lifestyle to its owners.

On October 1, 2021, Nio opened an Nio House in Norway, its first such facility in Europe.

In Germany, Nio presented its flagship sedan ET7 for the first time in September 2021 and launched the first battery swap station there in September 2022.

On October 7 last year, Nio held the Nio Berlin launch event to introduce its three latest models -- ET7, EL7 and ET5 -- to European consumers.

Unlike other countries where it sells vehicles directly, Nio was offering a service it called Nio Subscription in Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, which only allows local consumers to lease vehicles, not buy them.

On November 21 last year, Nio began offering European consumers the option to purchase the ET7, EL7 and ET5.

Deliveries of Nio vehicles acquired on the subscription model have already begun in Europe, while deliveries of purchased vehicles have not yet begun.

Nio Subscription vehicles in Europe are recognized as assets on the company's balance sheet, but are not counted in published deliveries, the company previously said.
