Cairn, ConocoPhillips confirm oil find offshore Senegal

Cairn, ConocoPhillips and their other joint venture partners confirmed that oil was discovered in the FAN-1 exploration well, located approximately 60 miles (97 km) offshore Senegal, in Northwest Africa.
