London transport operator Go-Ahead adds two Irizar electric i2e buses to fleet after successful operating results

Based on the success of two Irizar 100% i2e electric buses that have been operating in London since June 2015, London’s largest transport operator, Go-Ahead, is incorporating the buses into its fleet and has signed an agreement with Irizar that includes service and maintenance. Electric bus wins: BYD in Nottingham, Irizar in Bilbao

EMT Madrid investing €177M in purchase of 520 CNG buses and 50 electric buses

Ford extends Transit Plug-In Hybrid Van trial to Cologne

From spring 2019, Ford, supported by the City of Cologne, will operate a fleet of 10 Ford Transit Custom PHEVs with regional companies in the city to investigate the extent to which PHEVs can help to achieve urban air quality goals. Florence taxi drivers choose Nissan LEAF

With this initiative, Florence joins big European cities like Madrid that has more than 100 Nissan LEAF taxis, Amsterdam with a fleet of 100 taxis (including Nissan LEAF and e-NV200), and Budapest. Holland, the UK and Spain are the three biggest markets in the sector. Last year, the municipality of Florence, Italy called a tender notice that involved 70 new electric taxi licenses, all of which have now been allocated.
